How to find your Google review link (2 ways)

Updated 28 October 2026 · By the Revvo team

Your Google review link opens the “write a review” box for your business directly. Customers skip searching for your shop, which is where most of them give up. Here are two ways to get it.

Way 1: from your Google Business Profile (easiest)

You need to be signed in with the Google account that manages your business.

  1. Open Google Search or the Google Maps app and search your business name.
  2. Your business panel opens with owner options. Tap Ask for reviews (on some phones it says Get more reviews or Share review form).
  3. Copy the link shown. It usually looks like g.page/r/…/review.

If you do not see these options, your business is not verified yet, or you are signed in with a different Google account.

Way 2: build it from your Place ID

Every place on Google Maps has a Place ID. Put it at the end of this address and you have a review link:

https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=YOUR_PLACE_ID

To find your Place ID, search Google for “Place ID Finder” (a free page by Google for developers), type your shop name, and copy the ID shown under your shop.

Test it before you print it

  • Open the link on your phone, and on a phone that is not signed in to your business account.
  • It should open your shop with the stars ready to tap.
  • If it opens a different branch or a search page, get the link again.

Next: turn it into a QR code

A link is great for WhatsApp. In the shop, a QR code works better because nobody has to type. Paste your link into our free Google review QR code tool and download a print-ready code in a few seconds.

Questions shop owners ask

What does a Google review link look like?

Usually g.page/r/ followed by a code and /review, or search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid= followed by your Place ID. Both open the review box for your business.

Why can’t I see “Ask for reviews” on my business?

You need to be signed in with the Google account that manages the business, and the business must be verified on Google Business Profile.

Does the review link ever change?

The Place ID based link stays the same as long as your Google listing exists. If you move or recreate the listing, get a fresh link and update your QR code.
